Chances are you'll fall in love with ALL of Sarasota and her Gulf Islands — and so for some it's a task to decide where to stay. On the Suncoast, you'll find three unique cities (Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice) surrounded by water and punctuated by several gorgeous islands. Anna Maria Island guards the northern border at the mouth of Tampa Bay and gives you the feel of "Old Florida." In contrast, both Longboat Key and Lido Key are home to millionaires, movie stars and tourists all dressed in their finest. St. Armands Circle offers glitzy shops, tony restaurants and beautiful beaches. Head out to Siesta Key, the home of some of the world's finest beaches, where you'll enjoy the funky, laid-back village for shopping, people-watching and all-out relaxing. Don't miss the drum circles, held at sundown on area beaches. Casey Key is the quiet companion and is almost exclusively residential. Stretch your legs at North Jetty Park on the south end of the Key.
