Your Inside Guide to: Las Vegas

Fantasy, Shows, Nightlife, Gaming, The Strip, Rollercoasters & more...

Glitz, glamour and gaming...These might be the first words that come to mind when you think of Vegas, but there's more here than meets the eye. Nowhere else in the world can you go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, visit a white lion sanctuary, take a ride on the planet's highest roller coaster and watch a volcano explode — all in the space of a few hours. And that's just for starters!

Vegas is definitely over-the-top, and with good results; it's the most traveled-to destination in the world, with over 37 million visitors a year. Almost everything is open 24 hours and there is no slow season here, so it's a virtual year-round, round-the-clock playground for adults. If you're here with the kids, there's plenty for them too, with amusement parks, zoos and stellar attractions — but it's really an ideal place for the grownup set.

Vegas has two main arteries: The Strip, a three and a half mile Mecca of entertainment that runs between Russell Road and Sahara Avenue and Fremont Street, just a bit north of The Strip. Between these two areas, you'll find an endless stream of things to do and see. Dining, shopping, activities of every flavor, brand and style await your visit. Vegas is a fantasyland, where you can believe your eyes — anything can happen here!
